Nick Tomlinson Motorsports
2010 started off with a good solid finish in the
season opener at Elmas, Grays Harbor Raceway
with a heat race win and a solid second place
finish in the A-main. A couple nights later while
racing at Cottage Grove Speedway the exhaust
valve broke leaving us with a damaged engine. We
all agreed to sit out the season and get the engine
repaired.
Late in 2010 Nick recieved an oppurtunity to
drive a 500cc kage kart at the Salem indoor. The
first night back in a kart after several years in the
sprint car. Nick finished 5th in the A-Main after
starting 16th. It seemed that heat races were our
nemesis all winter so he started at the rear of all
the mains and consistently worked himself into
the top five. At this time we are not sure what
2011 is looking like our plan is to try and run the
sprint car and a few selected kage kart races.
