Nick Tomlinson raced at the Bobs Burger & Brew 360 Nationals at Skagit Speedway this was the return of Nick Tomlinson to Skagit after having consistent motor problems early in the year. This was the second outing driving the the car with a Eagle chassis and Nick felt comfortable. Friday night was qualifying and we did not qualify great 43 out of 51 putting us at the tail of the c-main starting 17th. Nick showed patience working his way up through the field. He had worked his way up to 5th when alapped car spun in front of him Nick avoided the spun car. A back marker hit us finishing our night with a 10th place finish. Saturday morning we picked up the parts we needed from Advanced Sprint Cars & Toys for Trucks and made repairs for the evenings race. Nick was scheduled to start 13th in the c-main and five cars were transfering to the b- main. On the start Nick was spun out and had to go to the rear of the 21 car field. Nick stayed focused through the red flags. Finishing 6th in the c-main and was the alternate for the b-main. We figure in two nights of racing Nick passed about 30 cars and had the best showing thus far in his dirt sprint car carreer. The next race that Nick Tomlinson will race will be on August 16th at Douglas County Speedway returning to the asphalt for the first time this season.
