| May 28th 2009, Nick Tomlinson Motorsports had a good comeback last Saturday night at Cottage Grove speedway. The previous week seen some misfortune that put the crew under the gun to prepare a new chassis for the young driver. Bryan Crockett Motorsports had a triple x chassis and the build began. Nick took the car out to pack the track and found a couple changes to make him more comfortable. Nick qualified 14th out of the 21 car field, he made a last lap pass around the top to take the heat race win. Points through out the night determine main event line ups and this put nick starting 11th in the main event. Nick methodically worked his way up to seventh. On a restart he hit a hole in turn two dropped back to 14th where he made a steady march back towards the front driving the cushion and finished 6th overall. We would like to thank Western Boxed meats, TNT Diversified, Competition Motorsports, Herz Precision Parts, M&B Cylinder Heads and R&T Motorsports for there help and support. |
